Cutest Birthday Invites--Mattox Sartin

I just had to post this birthday party invitation to the blog because it is so stinkin' cute! I've been photographing little Mattox since he was a few weeks old...what a fun year it's been! I was so surprised and excited when I cam into the studio to shoot the images for this announcement...I had no idea that Renee was bringing in full Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes! And I had to share this pic showing my office manager, Holly's ultimate dedication to making your experience at our studio like no other....she actually wore the costume in the pics for the entire session....now that is what I call service! Wow what fun...we had a blast and Mattox loved it! Happy Birthday Mattox!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post the winner of our first ever "Make a Difference" contest. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to nominate each deserving senior. There were so many touching stories and I wanted to be able to give them all the winning package. But, after a long deliberation, the winner we have chosen is Justin Scruggs of Nitro High School. Congratulations Justin! I will be calling Justin this week to set up his appointment and as soon I process some of his images I'll share them with you.

Allyson

Recently I was working on this cute storyboard of Allyson Plumley, daughter of Christy and Aaron Plumley. Allyson had such a great time at this session that she kept asking me to take more photos of her. I don't think that's ever happened in a two year old session ever before. We want with it and the photos turned out great! Allyson is such a cutie!

WV Senior Portraits -- You can "Make a Difference"

Each year we give away a full senior package to one deserving senior. When we say full senior package, we mean everything…. from session fees, to prints, wallets, 911 cards, graduation announcements….over $1,800 worth of services and products to be exact. So, here’s where you come in…

We want you to nominate a 2010 senior who you feel is a deserving candidate for the senor portrait experience of a lifetime. We just want you to tell us why this senior is deserving and why they should be chosen as this year’s “Make a Difference” winner.

Maybe you can make a difference in a senior’s life by nominating someone who simply can’t afford senior portraits but who works tirelessly to help their family make ends meet. Maybe it’s someone who’s recently experienced a tragedy or someone who’s faced hardships throughout their life. Maybe it’s a senior who makes a difference in their community by selflessly donating their time and energy to worthy causes.

I’m sure you know someone; you just need to let me know who it is.

So, here are the rules:
You cannot nominate yourself.
The nominee must reside in West Virginia and be a senior who is graduating in 2010.
I need the truth and nothing but the truth!
And I want the whole story.

The deadline for submission is March 1, 2010.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a $300 studio credit. What better reason to make a difference in someone’s life?!

Please e-mail me directly at beth@foresterphoto.com and include the following:

1. Your name and contact information 2. The name and contact information for your nominee 3. Their story and why they should be chosen as the “Make a Difference” winner.

Hopefully together we can Make a Difference!

My Christmas Card

Well, I hope everyone had a great holiday....I know I sure did. I work so much that it's nice to have a few days away with my family. Anyway, this season was crazy for me and I didn't finish my card until December 23rd...(I had to finish everyone else's work first before I could even think about my own stuff) And, for all off of you all wondering out there....yes I do own a donkey as a pet and he is the greatest! And another side note these images were taken this December....we had a big snow and lost power for two days...that meant no working on the computer right before my Christmas deadlines and YES I was in a panic!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Baby Isla

Had to share this one!! How cute is this! This is baby Isla, who at the time of the photo was only 1 week old....She is the daughter of the proud parents, Jodi and Evan Hall of Proctorville, Ohio. Yes, she made quite a journey to get to the studio but the session went really well and I was so excited to get to share in another important event in Jodi and Evan's lives. (I photographed their wedding several years ago) Again, it is such a great honor to document such important events in people lives...thanks and congrats Jodi and Evan! Baby Isla is beautiful!
